Not a lot of filling for puffed up size. But that didn't matter much bc filling was not very sweet, sour, or pineapple flavorful.

Really liked the seasoning on the shrimp & the cheesy poblano cream sauce but the shrimp were quite fishy. Took what would have probably been an 8 down to a 5 for me.

I could taste the achiote only slightly. The pineapple & bacon were nowhere to be found. Menu description sounded great, what I got was just ok.

So many great things here but end result was bland. Grits weren’t detectably cheesy, shrimp & sauce bland even w/ peppers & sausage. No idea how this can be.

Turnips slightly cold & to be clear they are not fully cooked & have a slight horseradish flavor. Crust was amazing though butter crumbly & apricot sauce nice.

Get this in ATX whenever I visit but here the ice cream was a bit different, wasn’t nearly as good. Vanilla flavor was off & texture was too fluffy.

Calamari was fresh, breading ample & crispy, and apricot dipping sauce was excellent. However, the cost to enjoyment ratio was off. Good but not stellar.
